This event pays tribute to two exceptional figures of contemporary music who are dearly missed: the composer Iannis Xenakis (1922–2001), whose centennial is being celebrated by the music community this year, and the unforgettable Luis de Pablo (1930 – 2021), loyal friend and collaborator of the NEM who passed away last October.

First and foremost, Résonance croisée is a new collaboration between European and Quebec artists chosen for their unique and avant-garde approaches to music creation. Audiences can expect to experience a week of concerts. This music needs to be “seen” for the sound to be fully appreciated; the body becomes the instrument and technology, the common thread.
