Facing the Music… This is the title of a collection, but also a poem by Paul Auster. Written in an extremely original style, it is quite dark, sometimes even harsh, where every word is carefully weighed and carries weight. In the presence of such poetry, we confront the music of the contemporary soul, faced with its vertigo, anxieties, and existential sadness. Yet, within all darkness, there lies a luminous whiteness.
