Concert Transmission with NEM and Forestare

31ST MONTREAL FIRST PEOPLES’ FESTIVAL

As part of the 31st International First Peoples’ Festival, taking place from August 3 to 11, 2021, Forestare and the NEM have joined forces with Anachnid, Laura Niquay and Q-052 to present Transmission, an original work bringing together Indigenous pop and new music.

On Wednesday August 4, 2021 at 8 pm, at Place des Festivals (Québécor stage), this concert is sure to stir your senses as it explores fragmented worlds, integrating the chords of Indigenous contemporary pop, rap, soul and folk and new music. Defying all pre-established notions, Transmission is an audacious collaborative experiment of the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne (NEM) and Forestare, in association with the International First Peoples’ Festival and Musique Nomade.

Combining discovery, openness and sharing towards a common goal: to make connections and forge friendships through music.

Free concert presented in partnership with Land InSights, Musique Nomade and Forestare. Places are limited, reserve at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/transmission-concert-tickets-164383757243
